Tracking links: setup and report
How to switch click tracking on, what the report shows and why the numbers differ from your own analytics.
Updated Oct 16, 2026
Tracking links come with the Pro plan. Each creator takes a short link per platform; you also get a "Campaign link" for your own channels.
Switching it on
- In the wizard ("Brief" step) or when editing, find "Click tracking".
- Turn on "Track clicks from creator links".
- Enter the "Destination page": a public https:// address, not on Tiklify. Change it any time, even after publication; links stay the same.
- When editing, "Check address" tests the page.
The report in the campaign
- "Unique clicks" (a visitor's repeats within a day are not counted) and "All clicks".
- "Reported conversions" show "—" until conversion reporting arrives.
- "Unique clicks by day": a chart of the last 90 days. Totals cover the whole lifetime.
- "Creator links": clicks per creator and platform.
Why the numbers differ from your analytics
Link previews, bots and scripted clients are not counted. Visitors are told apart by network and browser, so people sharing both are one unique click per day (days follow UTC). Clicks after the end count under "After the campaign ended" instead. On TikTok a link is clickable only in the bio and comments.
We add utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term (platform, creator links only) and tk_click. Your own utm_* parameters win, but tk_click is always ours and replaces any existing one. Links keep working after the campaign ends; the redirect stores no cookie.
