Brand rejected my video
What you see after a rejection, how long you have to appeal and how appeals are decided.
Updated Oct 16, 2026
When a brand rejects your video, its state changes to "Rejected" and you get an email with the brand's reason and the deadline for your appeal. You have 7 days from the rejection to appeal.
How to appeal
You appeal on the web; the mobile app doesn't offer it.
- Open "My videos" and the detail of the rejected video.
- In "Appeal this decision", write in "Reason for your appeal (1–1000 characters)" why the video should be reviewed again.
- Click "Submit appeal". Once confirmed, you see "Your appeal was submitted." and the video moves to the "Dispute" state.
How it is decided
The Tiklify team reviews the appeal. If it decides for you, the video is approved. If it sides with the brand, the rejection is final. If the team doesn't decide within 7 days of your appeal, the video is approved automatically.
