Connecting YouTube
How to connect a YouTube channel through Google, which permissions we ask for and why a new channel waits for review.
Updated Oct 16, 2026
You connect YouTube by signing in with Google. You can use a different Google account from the one you sign in to Tiklify with.
- Open Linked accounts and click Connect YouTube next to YouTube.
- Confirm your identity: under Verify your identity, choose recent sign-in, password or verified email, then click Verify.
- Click Continue to Google and pick the Google account that owns your channel.
- Choose one channel and allow read access to your profile and video statistics.
- When you return to Tiklify, the connection completes on its own and the channel shows Pending review.
Which permissions we ask for
Read-only access: your channel details and statistics from YouTube Analytics. We never upload, change or delete anything. We need the statistics to measure your videos in campaigns. If that access is missing, the app asks you to reconnect before you submit a video.
The Tiklify team reviews each new channel. Until it's approved, you can't submit campaign videos with it. More in Account pending review or rejected.
